The Client

Chatsimple is a B2B SaaS startup based in Toronto, Canada. The company provides AI chatbot and AI agent software to automate website sales, lead generation, and customer support.

As a new startup, they needed to reach their target audience, promote their software, build trust, and drive more signups. SEO-focused content marketing was a smart strategy to achieve these goals.

The Challenge

Like many good businesses, Chatsimple struggled with targeted organic traffic. In December 2024, they only had 4.6k organic visits. Given the quality of their product, they deserved more traffic and conversions.

But SEO takes time and effort. You must build a solid content strategy, identify the right keywords, and consistently create high-quality content that strictly follows the SEO best practices. You also need to constantly update past blogs to keep them relevant.

On top of all this, SEO keeps evolving. Personalized search results, multiple algorithm updates, Google AI Overviews, and AI search engines are changing how people search for information.

 

The Solution

To overcome these challenges, I had to put in a lot of work. And I loved every part of it.

I started by using Chatsimple’s AI chatbot on my website to understand how it worked firsthand. Next, I tried to understand Chatsimple’s target audience—their pain points, goals, and worldviews.

Then, I did the following things to boost organic traffic:

  • Created a content strategy that aligned with the latest SEO and content marketing trends.
  • Audited and updated past blog posts to keep them fresh and increase their rankings.
  • Researched high-intent keywords using Semrush to target the right audience.
  • Wrote engaging, original, and well-researched blog posts packed with value.
  • Kept an eye on industry trends to identify hot topics and create content that would gain traction.
  • Followed SEO best practices, including Google’s EEAT, content quality, internal linking, readability, linking authoritative sources, relevant ALT text, natural keyword placement, compelling headlines, and optimized meta descriptions.
  • Analyzed Chatsimple’s competitors to understand their strategies and traffic sources, then used those insights to refine our approach.
  • Handled everything from finding content ideas to creating visuals—to make my client’s life easier.

The Result

In just three months, I helped Chatsimple achieve the following results (based on Google Search Console data):

  1. 513.04% increase in organic traffic—from 4.6k visits (Dec 2024) to 28.2k visits (Mar 2025).
  2. 23x growth in daily organic visits—from 81 visits (Dec 31, 2024) to 1,862 visits (Mar 31, 2025).
  3. Higher brand awareness—monthly impressions on search engine results grew from 300k (Dec 2024) to 758k (Mar 2025).
  4. Titles and descriptions got more clicks—average CTR increased from 1.5% (Dec 2024) to 3.7% (Mar 2025).
  5. First-page rankings for high-intent keywords—including “B2B chatbot,” “CRM chatbot,” “AI sales chatbot,” “chatbot for dropshipping,” and “agentic AI in sales.” They don’t drive much traffic but bring qualified leads.
  6. Top rankings for competitive keywords—top 3 positions for 268+ keywords and first-page rankings for 660+ keywords.
  7. Increased AI visibility— appearing on Google AI overviews and ranking well on platforms like ChatGPT Search and Perplexity, driving qualified traffic.
